He married Rebecca (Birch) Jackson Myers on March 5, 1868, in Iowa, Iowa. They had two children during their marriage.
He died as a young father in October 1873 in Blairstown, Iowa, at the age of 25, and was buried there. Contact at FindAGrave website said Nineveh is buried in an unmarked grave.
