John Law Jackson was born on December 13, 1842 in York County, South Carolina, United States, son of Hugh M Jackson (1792–1865) and Margaret Watson (1803–1879).[1]
John married Eliza Permelia Currence (born on December 27, 1839 in South Carolina). Their daughter was Violet Erixnia Jackson (1866–1941).
John died on March 7, 1921 in Clover, York County, aged 78. He was buried in Woodside Cemetery, Clover, York County, South Carolina.[1]
