Biography

George Jackson was born on 14 October 1853, the seventh of twelve children and the third of six sons of Joseph Blackwell and Emily Lorentz Jackson.

On 17 January 1864, when he was twenty, he married Mary P. Lester in Lewis County, West Virginia.

On 18 April 1916, when he was sixty-two, he died in Jane Lew, Lewis County.
