Biography
When Ruth Jackson was born on August 13, 1787, in Redstone, Pennsylvania, her father, Samuel, was 37, and her mother, Rebecca, was 34. She married Henry Simon Dixon (1780-1848) in 1808 in Fayette, Pennsylvania. She died on February 18, 1865, in Washington, Ohio, having lived a long life of 77 years.[1]
