Lieutenant John Jacobs served with 14th Massachusetts Bay Provincial Regiment (1775), Continental Army during the American Revolution.

Biography

John Jacobs V was born in Salem, Mass on 3 Dec 1768 to John Jacobs IV and Mary Putnam Jacobs. Although referenced as "Junior" in some source documents he is actually the fifth in his line. He is referenced also as "Lieut" John Jacobs. He died in Millbury, Mass on 6 Feb 1841 and is buried at the West Millbury Cemetery.
