This is my Father's letter translated by me to the best of my ability. Signed Lena Michie (Dagmar Elise Nicholine) came my father, and who died in June

1873. I his son, Jacob, was born in Steensby, Denmark the 8th of Dec. 1835. My father's mother's name was Ann Margaret Jacobsen. My mother's father's name was Henning Johansen and her

mother's name was Anne Marie, Hendrik's daughter. I do not know married my father in 1828. They had three children, two girls and me.

My eldest sister, Anne Margaret Jacobsen was born the 6th of March 1829, and my other sister was born the 14th of April 1831. My eldest sister died the 5th March 1845. My other sister, Anne

Jacob, Jacob's son was married to Ingeborg Petersen the 3rd March 1860. Her father's name was Peter Nielsen and his mother's was Anne Nielsen. My father's father was the oldest of our family that I know, he was the first Jacob of our family, what year he was born I do. My father's mother's name was Ann Margaret Jacobsen. My mother's father's name was Henning Johansen and her mother's name was Anne Marie, Hendrik's daughter. I do not know what year they were born but it was in the 1770's.

My mother's mother died in the 1850's and mother's father in en was born the 6th of March 1829, and my other sister was born the 14th of April 1831. My eldest sister died the 5th March 1845. My other sister, Anne Catherine died the 6th of March 1865, after having been married to Jens Clausen a little over ten years. They had four children, mother's was Anne Nielsen. I do not know their birth-dates, but the daughter Ingeborg was born in Kongested, Denmark the 13th of March 1837. She had five brothers, one older and four younger, of July 1863, but died the year after in the month of September. Anne Sophie Catherine, born the 10th of July 1865. She lived to the eldest, Niels, then Soren, and Hans, Jens, and Jorgen.

She lived to be twenty-three years old and had been married to a man name of Eugene Richardson and had two children, a daughter and a son. born 11th of March 1876.

Dagmar Elise Nicholine Jacobsen born April 17th 1878.

Elias Jacobsen born the 22nd February 1881. With the exception of Anne Sophie Catherine, all were born in Copenhagen, Denmark. Anne Sophie Catherine Was born in Kongested.
