Research Notes

This Mary James is not the Mary James who married, 25 May 1756, Josiah Rundlett, [9] as she was still married to Samuel Lane when she died, [5] and two of their children, Bathsheba and Jabez, were born after the date of her supposed marriage to Josiah Rundlett. [6] The Mary James who married Josiah Rundlett was her niece, Mary James, a daughter of her brother, Edmund James.
