Biography

John Jameson, son of James [1] and Sarah Jameson, was born 1:7: 1648, in Boston, Province of Massachusetts. He married March 15, 1669, Esther Martin, b. April 7, 1653, dau. of George and Susanna (North) Martin. They resided in Amesbury, Mass. Children: Jane b. 1; m. Thomas Nichols.

Jane Jameson, daughter of John [3] and Esther (Martin) Jameson, born Feb. 23, 1673-4, in Amesbury; married Thomas Nichols, son of Thomas and Mary Nichols. He was born Oct. 16, 1670; died in Nov., 1724; m. 2nd April, 1721, Judith Hoage of Newburyport.

  1. Anna, b. May i, 1694 ; m. Oct. 23, 1718, Samuel Colby.
  2. Jonathan, b. Dec. 13, 1697; m. Jan. 16, 1719, Mary Challis.
  3. Mary, b. Oct. 11, 1701 ; m. April 10, 1718 Ralph Blaisdell, removed to East Kingston, NH.
  4. Esther, b. Sept. 11, 1703 ; m. Jan. 24, 1724, Ichabod Colby.

Thomas Nichols, immigrant ancestor, born in England, came to this country before 1655. He married September 1655, at Malden, Massachusetts, Mary Moulton, removed to Amesbury by 1665, d. abt 1720.
