Obit: Funeral services were held for Mrs. Daisy Jared Maddux, 67, this afternoon at 2:00 at the Buffalo Valley Presbyterian Church with the Rev. Ralph Arbaugh officiating. Interment was in the Maddux Cemetery. Mrs. Maddux died Tuesday December 6, at the home of her sister, Mrs. Dave High, a daughter of the late Columbus and Monte Braswell Jared. She was a native of Putnam Co., TN. She was a member of the Methodist Church. Survivors include 3 sons, Jared Maddux, Cookeville, Critt Maddux, Wilmington, DE, Noel Maddux, Madisonville, TN, 3 sisters, Mrs. Jim Lancaster, Lancaster, TN, Mrs. Joe Nichols, Baxter, and Mrs. Dave High, Cookeville, 2 brothers, Wirt And Walter Jared of Buffalo Valley.
