From Hardesty's WV Heritage Encyclopedia V.4:146: Bio of Owen V. Jarrett: "Owen V. Jarrett's second marriage was consummated at Queens Schoals, January 12, 1854, and his wife is Mary V., daughter of John P. and Christena Hart. She was born in Charleston, November 14, 1821, and her parents are no longer living. Mr. and Mrs. Jarrett have three children: Vernon, born August 2, 1855; Stanton, May 13, 1859; Grant, April 7, 1865.... "
