Biography
Elizabeth's birth was registered in the Apr-May-Jun quarter of 1852 in the Hoxne district.[1]
The Bedfield parish register states that Elizabeth, daughter of Daniel Jay and Dinah (formerly) Mutimer was born on 22 May 1852 and christened on 12 Jul 1855.[2]
In the 1861 census Elizabeth (age 9) was the daughter of Daniel Wade in Bedfield, Suffolk, England.[3][4] Note that the family surname has been transcribed incorrectly as Wade on Ancestry and as Gage on FamilySearch/FindMyPast.
In the 1871 census Elizabeth (age 18), Housekeeper, was the daughter of Dinah Jay in Bedfield, Suffolk, England.[5]
Elizabeth's marriage was registered in the Apr-May-Jun quarter of 1871 in the Hoxne district.[6]
In the 1881 census Elizabeth (age 29) was the wife of Samuel Borrett in Monk Soham, Suffolk, England.[7]
