Marie Marguerite Jean was baptized on August 24, 1688 in Champlain, daughter of Vivien Jean and Catherine Gateau. The officiating priest was Ambroise Pelerin and the godparents were Jacques Turcot and Marie Marguerite Chorel.[1]

Through her married life she is listed as Marguerite Viens or Vivien.

Marguerite Vient died on December 21, 1759 and was buried the 22nd in Batiscan.[4] The record gave her 76 years of age.
