Biography

Walter was born in March 10, 1838 in Lincoln County, North Carolina.[1] He was the son of Benjamin Jenkins and Francis Rhodes. He passed away in 1924.

Byrem Jenkins, of Weir, Texas, joined the Texas Ranger service under Captain Dalrymple and continued in the service on the frontier from 6 months prior to the Civil War until after it’s close.
