Ella was born in 1896. She was the daughter of Bert Jewett and Emily Hudson.
She married 1st William Herbert Hoople (1891–1973). They had a daughter:
Beryl Hoople Nielsen (1916–).
She married 2nd Hans Julius F. Nielsen (1894–1933). They had the following children:
Dorothy I Nielsen 1920–
Dwight Frederick Nielson 1926–1992
Raymond Jewett "Ray" Nielsen 1930–1977
She passed away in 1980. Burial: Trufant Cemetery, Montcalm County, Michigan.
