Jack L. Jockisch, 62, of rural Meredosia died Thursday, Aug. 8, 2002, at Passavant Area Hospital in Jacksonville. He was born Oct. 29, 1939, in Beardstown, the son of Melvin and Verna Jeanice Moeller Jockisch. He married Lucille Barfield in 1964. Mr. Jockisch was a farmhand in the Meredosia area and a member of Black Oak Church. Survivors: wife, Lucille; three sons, Steven Jockisch of Virginia, Rodney (wife, Maria) Jockisch of Concord, N.C., and Michael Jockisch of Meredosia; a daughter, Linda Scott of Lincoln, Neb.; five grandchildren; and a brother, David (wife, Katy) of Nebo. Services: 2 p.m. Sudnay, Black Oak Church. Burial: Black Oak Cemetery. Schaefer-Cody Funeral Home in Meredosia is in charge of arrangements.
