Jewell Vincent, 86, passed away peacefully April 30, 2013 at Park Terrace Campus surrounded by her family.
She was a lifelong homemaker. She was an active member of Zion United Baptist Church since the 1970s. She loved Shawnee Park family picnics, cooking Sunday dinner and having her children, grandchildren, great grandchildren and friends to her house every Sunday for family togetherness. She was famous for her chocolate gravy and homemade biscuits and was deeply loved for her welcoming smile and ever-comforting arms.
She was preceded in death by her first husband Cecil Kinser and her loving husband of 48 years, William Thomas "Tot" Vincent; sisters, Gerline (Owen), Freeda (Lester), Marie (Pat), Daphene; and her brother Walter.
She is survived by her son Robert "Bobby" Kinser (Maureen); daughters, Patricia "Pat" Vincent (Raynold Sr.), Elaine Stoll, and Elizabeth M. "Liz" Burunoff (James); stepdaughters, Mayfus Jane Baker (Van) and Wilda Jean Strickland both of Havana, FL; sister, Ermadean Hogan (Elmer), and brothers, Oval Johnson (Willadean) and Noah Johnson; six grandchildren; and five great- grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held noon Friday at Ratterman Grand Chapels , 4832 Cane Run Road with burial in Lone Hill Cemetery, Mt. Washington Road.
