Biography

Martha was born 1871 in Wayne County, West Virginia the daughter of Shockley Johnson and Adeline Beckelheimer.[1]

Martha was age 9 and resided at Ceredo with her father, Shockley Johnson in the 1880 census for Wayne County, West Virginia. Her mother Adeline had died in 1875. [2]

Martha Johnson married Bostic Brumfield 16 April 1887 in Cabell County, West Virginia.

The Brumfield family resided in Union District, Wayne County, West Virginia in 1900. [3] The household included:
