Biography

Nathan was born about 23 Jan 1769, possibly in Stoughton, Norfolk, Massachusetts.[1] He was the son of Josiah Johnson and Azubah (Cary) Johnson.[1]

He married Mary Johnson on 11 Jun 1789 in Bridgewater, MA.[2]

He died about 2 Aug 1821, possibly in East Bridgewater, Plymouth, Massachusetts. He was buried in Old Graveyard.[3]

On his death, "found in the well" per History of Bridgewater I updated birth and death info. I left the Benjamin nickname, though I have not seen this.

The Stoughton Town Records are clear enough about the birth date and parents, Josiah and Azuba Johnson. I have not seen any source for the name Benjamin.
