Susan Johnson was born on 13 April 1777 in Georgia, United States to Colonel Bigby Johnson (1751-1823).

Marriage and Family

She married Zadok Augustus Bonner (1769-1848) in 1794.

  3. Zadock Augustus Bonner Jr. was born on 18 October 1804 in Greene County, Georgia, United States. He married Lucy Ridgeway (1806-1872) on 28 December 1825 in Clarke County, Georgia. Zadock died on 23 December 1891 in Roopville, Carroll, Georgia, United States.
  4. Abigail Bonner was born on 6 May 1809 in Clarke County, Georgia, United States. She married James Freeborn Garrison (1802-1860). Abigail died on 19 September 1890 in Garrison, Nacogdoches, Texas, United States.
  5. Rev. John Thomas Bonner was born on 17 February 1817 in Fayette County, Georgia, United States. He married 1) Martha M. Gillespie (1815-1857) on 13 November 1835 and 2) Martha Ann Upchurch (1833-1881) on 3 September 1857 and 3) Lucy J. Wood (1844-1935) on 7 August 1881. Rev. Bonner died on 24 August 1893 in Carroll County, Georgia, United States.
  6. Mahala A. Bonner was born on 22 March 1819. She married Lovick Pierce Clements (1807-1894) before 1844. Mahala died on 19 October 1902.
  7. Jerusha Bonner was born on 12 February 1823 in Clarke County, Georgia, United States. She married Jesse C. Clements (1817-1910) on 14 August 1838 in Fayette County, Georgia. Jerusha died on 6 September 1878 in Atlanta, Cass, Texas, United States.
  8. Betsy Bonner was born c. 1826 in Georgia, United States. Betsy died c. 1877.
  9. Pauline M. Bonner was born on 4 September 1832. She married Wilson Lumpkin Bloodworth (1833-1872). Pauline died on 15 April 1892.
