Mary was born on 16 February 1724 in Staten Island, Richmond, Colony of New York. She was the daughter of Hendrik (Janszen) Johnson and Abigail (Brittain) Jansen.

Mary was baptized on 14 July 1733 in Staten Island, Richmond, Colony of New York.
When Mary was 25 she married on 16 February 1749 in New Jersey.
Mary arrived in New Brunswick, Canada. Note: She was a widow and came with her children in 1783.
Mary died at the age of 93 on 27 January 1818 in Studholm, Kings, New Brunswick, Canada.
Mary was buried on 27 January 1818 in Trinity Anglican Church, Kingston, New Brunswick, Canada.
