Biography

James Johnson, son of Timothy Johnson and Dimis Welch, was supposedly born on 6 July 1803 in Keene, Essex County, New York - though he was more likely born in Canaan, Grafton County, New Hampshire.

James Johnson died in Keene, Essex, New York on 16 August 1808. [1]
