He was 22 years old, working as a farm hand and living with his parents in 1880 at Cannonsburg, Boyd County, Kentucky.[2]
Obituary, March 7, 1902, William Johnson was ground to a pulp by C & O shuttle train yesterday morning at Catlettsburg. He was walking in the tracks. He was a son of Cal Johnson and was 35 years old. He leaves a wife and five children and lived on Catletts Creek.[3]
