Biography

Amelia (Johnston) Williamson was born in the Colony of Victoria (1851-1900)

Amelia Julia Johnston was born at Emerald Hill, Victoria on 14 February 1883, the daughter of Arthur Irwin Johnston and Wilhelmina Michaelis.^[1] She was the second of nine children.^[2]

Amelia Julia Johnston, daughter of Arthur Irwin Johnston and Wilhelmina Michaelis, married John Williamson, son of George Brown Williamson and Charlotte Octavia Elkington, on 10 December 1900 at Ivanhoe, New South Wales.^[3] Their marriage was registered at Mossgiel. They had 8 children.^[2]

Amelia Julia (Johnston) Williamson passed away at South Yarra, Victoria on 9 February 1966, aged 82 years.^[4] She was survived by
