WILLIAM PAT JONES
William Pat Jones, 74, of Raleigh, died Friday, Jan. 15, 1999, at St. Dominic Hospital in Jackson, of heart failure.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday, at Colonial Chapel Funeral Home in Raleigh, with burial in North Raleigh Cemetery.
A native of Smith County, he was a member of First Baptist Church in Raleigh. He was a retired production supervisor with Continental Can Co. He lived most of his life in Raleigh and was a member of the Gospel Lights Singers. He was a World War II U.S. Army veteran.
He is survived by his wife, Doris Jones of Raleigh; a son, Gary Jones of Raleigh; a daughter, Annette Young of Raleigh; a sister, Cleo Mayfield of Hattiesburg; and four grandchildren.
Colonial Chapel Funeral Home in Raleigh is in charge of arrangements.[3]
