Mary Jones was baptized on February 26, 1743 at St Andrew, Holborn Camden, London, England. She was the daughter of Charles and Ann (Grove) Jones of Greys Inn Lane.

Mary married Paul Debues (aka Debuse, Debeuse) on October 20, 1765 at St Matthew, Bethnal Green Tower Hamlets, England. Ann Ashley and Ja. May witnessed the marriage.

Paul and Mary had the following children all born and baptized in Bethnal Green: Richard, Daniel John (d. young), Paul John, Mary, James, Daniel, and Esther.

Mary passed away in Bethnal Green and was buried at St. Matthew on June 28, 1808 leaving her husband a widower.
