  • "FRANK JONES KILLED AT HEALDTON WEDNESDAY
  • (Special to The Ardmoreite)
  • Healdton, Okla., Oct. 28. - Frank Jones was shot and instantly killed at Healdton last night at 7:30 o'clock and Frank Little whom it is alleged did the shooting is in the county jail at Ardmore to await the action of the county attorney.
  • One shot entered the left side, one at the top of the left shoulder ranging downward through the body and one in the left leg. It is alleged that Jones, who died without making a statement had trouble with the Little's in the past and but a short time ago shot and seriously wounded a brother of the man who did the shooting last night."
  • "Deputy Sheriff Ward stated this morning that no details of the shooting was given to him other than that Little approached Jones and began shooting, three bullets from a .45 calibre pistol taking effect in the body of the victim.
  • The county attorney filed an information this moringing against Little charging him with murder. The preliminary hearing will be held within the next few days.
  • Little at the county jail had nothing to say relative to the shooting."
