Biography

I'm starting this page so that I can collaborate with others on my family tree.

I come from a long line of family history pack rats and I am now in possession of lots of wonderful letters, newspaper clippings, pictures etc from my ancestors and I want to share them with other family historians.

All of my ancestors were in Alabama, Georgia and Tennessee by the early to mid 1800s.

Alabama: Butler and Wilcox counties and surrounding areas Lloyd Adams Blankenship Carter Compton Norred

Etowah and Calhoun Counties: Jones Carter Kilgore Hammond (came from Anson Co, NC) Spears (came from Anson Co, NC) McCullars (GA, TN, AL)

Russell and Barbour Counties: Butt (from GA) Thomas Williams

Chambers and Lee Counties Lowe Bolt Barronton Chappell Lamb Webb

Tennessee: Marion County: Powers (came from Ireland, can not confirm line prior to 1870) Mason Smith McNabb Ritchie
