Biography

Minerva Jones was born on October 18, 1844, in Overton, Tennessee, her father, Abraham, was 51, and her mother, Sarah, was 40. She married Issac Holt and they had two children together. She also had two daughters from another relationship. She died on July 2, 1903, in Pickett, Tennessee, at the age of 58, and was buried in Byrdstown, Tennessee.
