PEARL - Albert Glenn Jones, 78, a U.S. Army veteran, died of a stroke Wednesday at the Veterans Affairs Nursing Home. Services are 2 p.m. today at Lakewood Memorial Funeral Home with burial in Lakewood Memorial Park Cemetery.

Mr. Jones was a Magee native and had moved to Pearl 36 years ago. He enjoyed country music, the outdoors and traveling. He was a life member of D.A.V.

Survivors include: brother, Harry Jones of Magee; nephew, Keith Jones of Brandon; great nephew, Glenn Jones of Brandon; and great niece, Beltee Jones of Brandon.
