Anonymous Jones cannot be a son of Martha Hammontree and Perry Hammontree. If he is Perry's son than Martha is is grandmother. If he is Martha's son than he is Perry's brother. Please help fix this problem. Perry does have a son named Wilbur Cleo Jones see "United States, Obituaries, American Historical Society of Germans from Russia, 1899-2012," database with images, FamilySearch (https://familysearch.org/pal:/MM9.1.1/QVS9-JKSW : 31 July 2014), Wilbur Cleo Jones, 20 Feb 1995; citing Obituary, in "Greeley Tribune"; American Historical Society of Germans from Russia, Lincoln.

RE: Mary Ann and Nancy - yes they would have to be sisters. I know Nancy Jones married Hiram King - for certain. I had also seen her referred to as Mary Ann. Let me work on this some more. I suggest we try to amend/edit any references we see to Mary Ann Jones Corn and Nancy Jones King. Oh how I wish Dr. George JOnes was still living in Hendersonville, NC - he was the JOnes guru on these lines. Let me keep working. Thanks!

RE: Your merge proposal for Mary Ann " Nancy" Jones who married Hiram King. These are two different people. One married a Corn, the other Hiram King. My Mary Ann is buried at King's Grove in Edneyville, NC next to Hiram. I have edited her profile name to Nancy and taken off Mary Ann. We've seen both names used for her but taking off the Mary Ann and leaving Nancy ( which we know she went by) might clear up the confusion.

Zak - I have a copy of the book "Descendants of James Coffel" and on page 43 it shows "Vera Lucille Coffel" as the daughter of John Coffel and Barbara Ulrey. It also states that "She married Elmer Marshall Jones 23 December 1925 in Benton, Franklin, Illinois." Is this the same person you have listed in your tree? Birthdays are the same also.
