Sarah Jordan was born 22 August 1751 in Falmouth, Maine to parents Jeremiah Jordan and Elisabeth "Betty" Cox. ^[1]

Sarah married John Mitchell 11 January 1776 in Falmouth, they had eight children that included two sets of twins: ^[2]
