Biography

Birth

Anna Margaretha was born on October 9, 1810 in the village of Glückstal in the Glückstal district of the Odessa area and Black Sea region of South Russia to Johannes Kapp and Christina (Gohl) Kapp.[1]

Family

Sometime shortly before 1827, around the age of 16, Anna married Wilhelm Hieb (1794-1868) in the nearby village of Neudorf.

  1. Catharina (1827-1837): Died at the age of 10.
  2. Eva (1828-unknown)
  3. Adam (1831-1907): Married Margaretha Hoffer (1831-1899), 9 children.
  4. Wilhelm (1832-1881): Married Katharina Dockter (1837-unknown), 10 children.
  5. Magdalena (1835-1837): Died at the age of 2.
  6. Sophia Magdalena (1837-1907): Married Conrad Feickert (1835-1914), 9 children.
  7. Daniel (1838-1838): Died at the age of 6 days.
  8. Jacob (1840-unknown): Married Margaretha Wiederich (1844-unknown), 11 children.
  9. Catharina (1842-1923): Married Matthias Weisser (1841-1924), 11 children.
  10. Johann (1844-1934): Married Alexandra Bohlaender (1840-1924), 7 children.
  11. Daniel (1846-1848): Died at the age of 2.
  12. Christina (1849-unknown): Married Gottlieb Krein (1846-unknown), 9 children.
