Phineas Allen Kemp was born on 18 Dec 1815 in Acworth, Sullivan, New Hampshire, USA as the seventh child of Aaron Kemp and Dolly Allen. He had eleven siblings, namely: Moses, Sally Allen, Abigail, Benjamin, Dolly, Lavina, Eliza Ann, Aaron, Lucinda, Samuel Worcester, and Infant. When he was 24, he married Betsey Blanchard,daughter of Lemuel Blanchard and Margaret Weatherspoon, on 13 Oct 1840. He died on 08 Apr 1907 in Waterbury, Washington, Vermont, USA (Age at Death: 91). He was a framer, who held nearly all of the town offices in Worcester, Vermont, and represented the town as a legislator in 1853, 1869 and 1870
