Iciphenia Irene Kennedy was born on 16 February 1884 in Anderson County, Texas, United States to William Thomas Kennedy (1842-1905) and Martha Tucker Sadler (1847-1931).

Marriage and Family

She married William Robert Bennett (1879-1941) on 26 March 1901 in Anderson County, Texas. They had 4 sets of twins and 2 single births. She also stated on the 1910 United States Federal Census that she had at that time given birth to 5 children and only 1, William Thomas, was living; so there were probably a number of stillbirths or infant deaths between March 1901 and 1909. She was 2 months away from giving birth to twins when the census was taken.
