Biography

  • Nichole Ker is the daughter of Sir George Ker of Samuelstown. She married, firstly, Alexander Home, 2nd Lord Home, son of Alexander Home, Master of Home and Agnes Hepburn, before 22 March 1492/93.
  • She married, secondly, Sir Alexander Ramsay of Dalhousie, son of Alexander Ramsay of Dalhousie and Lady Elizabeth Douglas, circa 1508. She and Sir Alexander Ramsay of Dalhousie were divorced.
  • She was also known as Nicola.From before 22 March 1492/93, her married name became Home. From circa 1508, her married name became Ramsay.
