Fred Henry Key Sr. passed away April 17, 2002 at a local Hospice. Born April 18, 1918 in Maunee, Illinois to William and Elizabeth (Vincent) Key.
Married to Mary Alice Stephens, July 4, 1942 in Monticello, Mississippi. He is survived by his wife and two children Fred and Ramona; three grandchildren Heidi Van Den Aardweg, Mckenzie, Joann Van Den Aardweg and Gretel Van Den Aardweg; three great-grandchildren Laurel, Amelia and Grayson McKenzie. Brothers William Key and Lacy Key; sisters Myrtle Mesechoff, Louise Hall and Hyson Utley all of Mt. Vernon, Indiana. He worked as an automobile mechanic for over fifty years. He always enjoyed the Western Outdoors and he was an avid fisherman. During W W II he served five years in the regular Army, two of which were spent in Burma.
Private internment at a local cemetery. In Lieu of Flowers donations in his name to Pikes Peak Hospice or Silver Key would be appreciated.
Burial: Crystal Valley Cemetery, Manitou Springs, El Paso County, Colorado
