Biography

I born and raised in Wisconsin and living my adult life in Minnesota with my wife, Carly, and our 3 children. 1 of my great-grandparents was an immigrant from the Netherlands, 4 were only first- or second-generation Americans (all of German descent), and the other 3 have roots reaching all the way back the the earliest American settlers.

Harold Kidd of Bloom, Wisconsin (1905-1986)

Hazel Schoonover of Richland Center, Wisconsin (1901-1981)

Dirk Loots of Enkhuizen, Netherlands (1888-1943)

Hattie Iwer of Oshkosh, Wisconsin (1896-1991)

Walter Buswell of Plymouth, Wisconsin (1897-1981)

Thekla Mueller of Kiel, Wisconsin (1901-1988)

Arthur Thielke of Louis Corners, Wisconsin (1894-1942)

Meta Winkel of Schleswig, Wisconsin (1898-1982)

Now that you have had a little time to try WikiTree, there are a few more features you may find useful.

Ideas on what to include in a profile can be found in Styles and Standards, including some tips on writing biographies.

If you need to describe an event, an heirloom or a location relevant to your research, you may like to learn about Free Space Profiles.

Lastly, sometimes you'll run into unresponsive profile managers. We have a process for resolving those unfortunate situations.

If you have any questions, feel free to ask via my profile page.

Hi,

Thank you for joining WikiTree. As a WikiTree Mentor I am available to answer any questions or help solve any issues you may be having.

How To Use WikiTree is a good starting point and the Help Index is an important place to find out how to do most tasks.

Do you have Royal Ancestors? They are already here on Wikitree! Rather than create duplicate profiles for them, please contact the EuroAristo Project to discuss connecting your family line to their profiles.

Feel free to ask me via my profile page if you have any questions.

I have been doing genealogy research for about a year now and love every minute of it. Looking at other trees posted around the web make me wonder at the duplication of effort that goes on by genealogists everywhere. I love the idea of having a shared tree on the web that leverage the collective work of the whole genealogy community. I will do my part to ensure any of my own contributions are supported by reliable documentation to maintain the integrity of the tree for all.
