Margot was an actress famous for her portrayal of Lois Lane in the 1979 classic film Superman and sequels.
Margaret Ruth was born in 1948, the daughter of Kendall Kidder and Jill Wilson.
Margot was married the first time on 2 Aug 1976, to Thomas McGuane.[1] They had one daughter together, Maggie. Margot and Thomas divorced in 23 May 1977.[2]
In 1979, she was briefly married to John Heard; however the marriage dissolved after only six days.
She was married a third time on August 6, 1983 to Philippe de Broca, in Vert, France.[3] Shortly after their first anniversary, that marriage ended as well, on November 9, 1984.
In 2007, Kidder and her family tree were the subject of the second episode of the Canadian Who Do You Think You Are? television series[4][5]
Margot died in 2018 and was cremated[6].
