Frances Killian, known as Fanny, married Michael Kline on June 27, 1785 (married by the Reverend Godfred Arends, a Lutheran clergyman).[1]

On "March 3, 1840, in Lincoln County North Carolina, Fanny Cline, 75 filed for a widow's pension ... stating that she is the widow of Michael Cline, a pensioner of the revolution; ... that her husband died in Lincoln County January 9, 1840.
Jacob Cline, brother of Michael Cline, gave a supporting affidavit. In his affidavit he states that the widow whose maiden name was Elizabeth
Killian. He says the minister performing the marriage was Godfrey Arend
facts in file: the widow was the daughter of Leonard Killian; there are children referred to in the file but no names are given; in 1849, the widow was living in Catawba County North Carolina.
Veteran was pensioned at the rate of $35.21 per annum commencing March 4th, 1831, for 10 months & two days service as a private in the infantry & cavalry in the North Carolina militia.
