He married Elizabeth CANTERBURY abt. 1718 in North Farmham Parish, Richmond County, Virginia.

Death: 25 March 1746; Hamilton Parish, Prince William, Virginia

Elizabeth CANTERBURY, daughter of John CANTERBURY and Ruth WILLIAMS , was born 1698 in Richmond, Old Rappahannock County, Virginia. She died abt. 1777 in Stafford Parish, Prince William County, Virginia.

Note: John Kincheloe and wife Elizabeth Canterbury were cousins.

Research Notes

Previous data showed his birth as 1718 with a daughter born 1726. After additional review of other sources, the birth date was changed to 1694.

Prince William County, Virginia, gives a will for John Kincheloe in 1741; Account Book C, page 323. [3]

His birth was the same parish as his wife, North Farnham Parish. He was not born in Prince William County but moved there after selling the 100 acres of property he inherited from his father. He purchased 400 acres of land in modern day Prince William County where some of his descendants still reside. His home in that area is now the Paradise Springs Winery and is owned by one of his descendants.
