David was born in 1774. [1][2]He is the son of James Kinman and Nancy Coonrod. [3]
In 1797 he was living in Greene County, Georgia [4]
In January, 1818, David Kinman received eight votes for justice of peace in Pike County, Indiana with no opposition [5]
In 1821 he was named as a beneficiary in his father's will in Pike County [3]
He wrote his own will [6] on 21 Sep 1831 in Pike County:
- Wife - Nancy Kinman to have the home plantation & at her death to go to two youngest daughters Julia & Nancy Kinman.
- Personal property to go to wife.
- Other children who will share in property at death of wife: Archibald, Henry, James, Lizzie Howard.
- Executor: Meredith Howard (his son-in-law)
- Witnesses: Peter Cockrell, Isaac Coan
- Proved Oct. 15, 1831 by Peter Cockrell. John McIntire
