Biography
Nicholas Kirby was born about 1500. ... He passed away on July 8, 1555, and was buried in St. Mary's Churchyard in Standon, East Hertfordshire District, Hertfordshire, England. [1]
In the Subsidy Rolls of Hertfordshire in 1545, Nicholas Kyrby of Stondon was assessed at 6 shillings 8 pence.[2]
