Agnes Kirkland was born about 1859 in Prince Edward Island. She was the daughter of James Kirkland and Jenet Cairns. The family moved frequently. They lived in Houlton Maine,[1] St. Stephen, New Brunswick,[2] and Summerside, Prince Edward Island.[3]
