Susanna Kerstetter was born in 1806 at Upper Mahanoy Township, Northumberland County, Pennsylvania.[1] She was baptized in 1807. Susanna Kerstetter was the daughter of Leonhardt Kerstetter and Susanna Gerhard.
Susanna Kerstetter was married to Peter Weikel circa 1832.[2] They were raising their large family in Coal Township, Northumberland County, Pennsylvania at the 1850 Census. The children in that household are as follows:

Susanna Kerstetter and Peter Weikel still had a large household at the 1860 Census.[4] At that time, the family was located at the Cameron Township in Northumberland County.
