Biography

Benjamin was the youngest son of Jacob Kittle (1757 - 1844) and Mary Ann Hendrickson Kittle (1759 - 1834). These are his siblings:

  2. Jemima Kittle Kelley (1788 - 1860)
  3. Moses Kittle (1791 - 1825)
  4. Mary Polly Kittle Hart (1793 - 1823)
  5. Benjamin Wilson Kittle (1795 - 1860)

Benjamin married Nancy A. Stalnaker Kittle (1798 - 1871). These are their kjown children:

  1. Ira Chase Kittle (1814 - 1897)
  2. Bethany Kittle Stalnaker (1823 - 1863)
  3. Susan A. Kittle Fretwell (1826 - 1903)
  4. Edward H Kittle (1833 - 1864)
  5. Squire Bosworth Kittle (1837 - 1908)

Benjamin probably died during the 1860s as his name appears on the 1860 Federal Census but does NOT appear on the 1870 Federal Census. [1] He is buried at the Old Kittle Farm in Randolph County, WV.
