Maria Gertrud Klenke was born on 8 February 1833 in Daumeyers Kotten, Schinkel, Iburg, Osnabrück, Hannover, Deutscher Bund, daughter of Caspar Heinrich Klenke (1801–1837) and Maria Angela (Lienemann) Klenke (1799–1854).[1]
