Biography

On 24 Jul 1860 at the time of the 1860 US Census, head of household Fred Klett (age 42, born in Germany) was employed as a Tailor and living on real estate valued at $2,000 with personal property valued at $300 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania with his daughter Annie Klett (age 3, born in PA); daughter Lizzie Klett (age 6, born in PA); daughter Amelia Klett (age 9, born in PA); and daughter Josephine Klett (age 10, born in PA). ^[1]

On 27 Jun 1870 at the time of the 1870 US Census, head of household M. Schmidt (age 47, born in Hesse Darmstadt) was living in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania with Conrad Weisgar (age 25, born in Prussia); Geo F. Klett (age 52, born in Prussia); Josephene Klett (age 21, born in PA); Emma Klett (age 19, born in PA); and Lizzy Klett (age 16, born in PA). ^[2]
