Biography

European Aristocracy
Katherine Knyvett was a member of the aristocracy in England.

Katherine Knyvett was the daughter of Sir Henry Knyvett and his wife, Elizabeth Stumpe. She was born about 1565 in Charlton, Wiltshire, England. She married firstly Richard Rich, son of Robert Rich, 2nd Baron Rich. After his death in 1580 she then married Sir Thomas Howard who was the son of Thomas Howard, 4th Duke of Norfolk and Hon. Margaret Audley. She died Sep 1638 in Saffron Walden, Essex, England.
