Sometime before 1880 Mary married a sailor with the surname Maison. She was widowed soon after. In the 1880 census, she lived with her parents and was employed as a servant.[4]
In July of 1880 she married recently widowed Xavier Beauregard.[5] In April 1881 they had their first child together - Louis Beauregard.[6] They would go on to have six more children together. The family lived in Detroit, and later returned to her hometown of Erin.[7][8]
Mary passed away in 1914 at the age of 57. The cause of death given was "Apoplexy".[9][10]
