William Henry Ladhams was born in 1872 at Bacchus Marsh, Victoria, Australia. He was the youngest of nine children, and the only surviving son, of John Ladhams and Ann Wickens.[1]
He married Beatrice Oldham in 1896 in Victoria.[2] They had three sons before Beatrice passed away in 1901:
William married again following Beatrice's death, to Mary Stone in 1905 in Victoria.[3] Mary passed away in 1926, leaving Henry a widower for the second time.
Not one for living on his own, William married for a third time, to Vera Wallis in 1926 in Victoria.[4] They enjoyed 23 years together before William passed away.
He passed away in 1949 in Victoria.[5] He was survived by his third wife and three sons from his first marriage.
